Gucci Moves Inc. was founded in 2022. We are a dance nonprofit organization that seeks to empower and strengthen men, women, and youth in the Washington Metropolitan Area. This is achieved by providing health and wellness programs, food drives, academic scholarships, and community dance classes. GMI aims to teach the community to enhance their self-esteem, help them realize their potential, and become whole – mind, body, and soul. We help others realize that anything in life is attainable when they first believe in themselves and receive guidance and support. We are committed to serving their needs so they become assets to their communities.
The Fundraising Coordinator will play a pivotal role in planning, organizing, and executing fundraising activities to support the organization’s financial objectives. This individual will collaborate with diverse stakeholders, cultivate donor relationships, and implement strategic initiatives to ensure the success of fundraising campaigns.
-Being the first point of contact for all external and internal fundraising inquiries
-Research and apply for government funding
-Introduce new ideas and initiatives for fundraising
-Collaborate with leadership to establish short-term and long-term fundraising goals
-Devise comprehensive fundraising strategies aligned with the organization’s mission and financial needs
-Identify potential donors, sponsors and funding sources
-Communicate regularly with donors and stakeholders to provide updates on the organization’s activities and impact
-Provide regular reports on fundraising activities and financial progress to the organization’s leadership
-Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations governing fundraising activities
-Develop and Implement strategies for recognizing and appreciating donors
-Recruit, train, and manage volunteers for fundraising events and campaigns
-Develop and manage the fundraising budget
-Work closely with the marketing and communication team to create compelling fundraising materials
-Create positive advertising campaigns
