Conservation Corps of Minnesota and Iowa
Youth Outdoors Leaders grow personally and professionally while gaining hands-on conservation skills in the field and receiving youth development training. Leaders supervise, motivate, direct, and coordinate local youth in a rigorous program of work, education, and training during after-school and weekend hours.
The program focuses on youth development and job training, with environmental conservation as a learning vehicle.
This is a year-long AmeriCorps service term. Corps members receive a monthly living stipend and an education award that can be applied to student loans or future education costs.
This is a great entry-level opportunity for anyone interested in natural resource management, environmental sciences, community education, conservation management, public policy, and education.
