The Board of Directors of the East Village Parks Conservancy is composed entirely of local resident volunteers. The Conservancy is a 501 (c) (3) which works in partnership with NYC Parks and Recreation to maintain and improve the public parks of Manhattan's East Village, and to make them more responsive to the needs of residents. We have a very good track record in our three years of existence, a high and rising profile, and excellent relations with the Parks Department and its associate organizations. Now we need someone to help us make the most of this momentum by planning and coordinating our fundraising efforts, especially grants.
