AnimalKind is a Raleigh, NC-based volunteer organization comprised of advertising and marketing communications professionals. The group was formed to fulfill an urgent, unmet need for communication services in our local animal rescue community.
Working with local nonprofit animal organizations, AnimalKind will develop and produce a citywide awareness campaign promoting animal rescue and spay/neutering. This integrated campaign will be the first of its kind in our area, reflecting a unified effort by multiple rescue and shelter
organizations.

Opportunity: Fundraising Professional
Responsibilities and Experience: Works with fundraising officers of participating animal organizations to develop/implement a fundraising program to subsidize the campaign. Qualified candidates will have demonstrated success managing a range of fundraising activities including corporate sponsorships and special events. Philanthropic fundraising experience with foundation grant-writing and individual/major gifting desired, but not required.
Opportunity: Public Relations Professional
Responsibilities and Experience: Works with PR officers of participating animal organizations to develop/implement a public relations campaign. Ideal candidate has experience with all major facets of PR and existing relationships with Triangle TV, radio and newspaper media.
