Virtual Volunteering
With today's technology, it's not always necessary to live where help is needed! Be a "virtual volunteer" for National GRADD! Believe it or not, we only have one full time staff member and she's swamped! Please help if you can. The following services are needed:
  • Grantwriting (National GRADD has an extensive business plan with which to work with)
  • Letter writing to solicit corporate sponsorships
  • Following up with corporate sponsorship solicitations
  • Any kind of fundraising help!
  • Layout/design of promotional material, including brochures, booklets, etc.
  • Press releases - writing, distribution and follow-up
  • Event planning
  • Company mail-out about our program to regional offices who may want to get involved
  • Sewing/sign making- National GRADD needs a banner for conferences
  • Contacting campus groups at your school to help start a program
  • Calling colleges in your area, following up with program plans, assisting when needed
  • Gathering information from schools with safe ride programs (this takes follow up!)
  • Writing an article for our semesterly newsletter, The Designated Collegiate
  • Proposal writing assistance for safe ride programs
  • Legal and insurance advice for safe ride program planners
  • Distribution of our information to college groups (Going to a conference? Please pass out a brochure for us!)
  • Linking your WWW site to ours - http://www.ntlgradd.w1.com
  • NETWORKING! Who might you know who can help us?
Internship Opportunities
Students around the country can participate in our network as interns or by choosing National GRADD or a local program in their community as their "client" for class projects. Although these opportunities are not paid, we are happy to work with you to arrange academic credit through your college or university. There is a wealth of valuable experience to gain by participating and you'll have the satisfaction of putting your efforts toward an excellent cause. Who knows...you might even make new friends and important business contacts while you're helping out!
