Musicians On Call is a non-profit organization with the mission of using music and entertainment to promote and complement the healing process in healthcare facilities. We are interested in recruiting guides to volunteer for our organization. Guides meet musicians at the healthcare facility, introduce musicians to the patients before each performance, walk with musicians during their room to room performances and communicate with the hospital staff. We are looking for a time commitment of about four hours per month. All potential guides go through an interview and training session, must be over 21 years of age, and must be responsible individuals who are able to communicate effectively. This is an ongoing volunteer opportunity.
