Connecticut Special Olympics has provided
year-round sports training and athletic competition for children and
adults with mental retardation for 27 years through local, area and
state programs. More than 8,600 athletes are currently involved statewide.
Connecticut's innovative and dynamic program consists of 43 games and
tournaments, 25 sports, along with many other vital ongoing programs.
Connecticut Special Olympics' athletes,
volunteers, and coaches train year-round to be their best. We build
sport skills, confidence, strength, motivation and self-esteem for everyone
