Alzheimer's Association – Mission Statement
The Alzheimer's Association, a national network of chapters, is the largest national voluntary health organization committed to finding a cure for Alzheimer's and helping those affected by the disease.
Having awarded more than $100 million in research grants, the Association ranks as the top private funder of research into the causes, treatments, prevention, and cure of Alzheimer's disease. The Association also provides education and support for people diagnosed with the condition, their families, and caregivers. This section of our site covers basic information about the Alzheimer's Association: our mission, our structure and finances, as well as library resources and employment opportunities. For more targeted information, we encourage you to visit one of our minisites — for persons with Alzheimer's disease, caregivers, health care professionals, researchers, or media.
